Research And Consultancy
In consonance with the philosophy of the Institute, of concern for and commitment to the society, research and consultancy activities have focused on improvement and betterment of existing public utility systems and core areas. In this respect, the faculty undertook several socially relevant research and consultancy projects.
Research, Consultancy and training activities continued to be pursued at the institute with interest and seriousness. Faculty members undertook several individual and group projects for research and consultancy activities in their field of specialization. The results of these pursuits are reflected in the publications, presentations of papers in seminars, conferences, workshops, etc., which are outlined elsewhere in the report.
Funded Consulting/ Training/ Projects/ Assignments
1. Dr.Rajeev Kumra & Dr. Anjali Malik, faculty members, LBSIM, Delhi were appointed as chief consultant and co-consultant respectively by PEC Limited for conducting a study on Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). The consultancy took nearly three months to complete. Based on discussions with PEC officials, qualitative research followed by quantitative survey the CSI was computed. Results were discussed and presented to the board of the company. The entire exercise and the consequent findings received high appreciation from the Company.
