Let us look at a few art-works he created, in support of his own scripts.

Varaha Murthy narrated the essence of Bhagavadgita Lessons in a very simple language. Its length did not exceed 5000 characters, and I felt it as simple as an infant learning to walk in comfort, holding hands of its parent. He created three artworks (one of those is carried here) to support the said script, lauded by many, as one of the best available online for the knowledge seekers.

What Varaha Murthy wrote about Trayacharyas (three spiritual masters) is unique. He created the artwork placed below, to support his script on Madhwacharya.

Varaaha Murthy lived with Soligas for some time during mid-sixties (as Gandhi Smarak Nidhi asked him to go to BR Hills - mount of the deity Biligiri Ranga - and work for their welfare). He scripted a thought provoking article to elaborate blind belief of Soligas, supporting it with the artwork below.

In one of his articles, Varaaha Murthy tried to convince that every individual commands an equal respect in the human race. He proved his point comparing it to Ramayana times. He cited that the king Janaka, while using his golden plough for work in his agricultural field, found baby Seetha in a box. Art work placed below was created by him, in relation to the said article.

In an article he explained about the treatment meted out to women without burkha, even during the modern times. To substantiate it he created the art work below.

Human dignity is threatened in many parts of the globe and Varaaha Murthy provided evidence to it, in one of his articles. Picture below was created by him, in support of the said article.

One of his articles revolved around Mahatma Gandhiji's message, 'Walk thou alone'. Picture he drew relevant to that article is placed below.

Eradicating caste discrimination was a subject of his scripts. His graphic related to that script is placed below.

Computer literacy is the life skill of recent times. Varaaha Murthy tried to explain how two generations coordinate to get used to this skill, in one of his essays. Art work relevant to that essay is seen below.

Multi-lingual unity of India is conveying a humanitarian message to the whole world. Have a look at his artwork below, to know his creative murmur towards the concept.

I join you in paying homage to Varaha Murthy. I came into contact with him through you. Unfortunately I was not able to develop contacts with him. But from whatever little I knew about him and from the brief interaction with him, I could make out that he was a talented person with ample worldly experience. Both his talents and his experience have come out so nicely in his cartoons, which are sharp and true to life.

Man of many achievements

We witness many Varaaha inspired writers and cartoonists in Karnataka. There is no scarcity of folk art followers, who often used to sing and dance with Varaaha. Followers preserve Varaaha sculptures and handicraft materials in their homes and offices even today.

Few months before he left this world, Varaaha created and dedicated a Yoga Narasimha idol (seen in the picture) to the Art of Living Foundation.
