Bombs that rock the cities.
Bombs rocked the IT capital of India, Bangalore, a few days back. Though they were of low intensity, one cannot shrug off the fact that it created panic among the residents. Phone lines to Bangalore were not reachable as the network was busy and hence jammed. Relatives and friends of the residents were trying to reach their loved ones to ensure everything was all right or not. So blasts in one city creates panic in other areas as well where the friends and relatives wants to ensure the well being of their far flung loved ones. Until and unless they hear their voices and speak to them, they do not get their peace of mind.
Well, what does the terrorist organizations want to impart? They point out later on that it is because they want to put some point across to the Govt. or some rival group that they have to take resort to such methods. Well, a very cowardly method where lives, property, peace of mind and hopes are snatched away in a single instant.
The question arises, what safety measures is the Govt taking to stop the bombshells from rocking the cities and hitting them hard? Well, perhaps, meetings, conventions, singing off papers and some peace deals, forming of committees. But we need some realistic action to make sure that when we go out in the morning for our daily chores, we come back unscathed.
