How to Keep Employee Morale High In These Difficult Times
Are you doing what it takes to keep employee morale high in these difficult times? The more control your employees experience on the job and in their overall work experience, the greater their ability to handle the demands, pressures, and uncertainties they face. Lets us share few fundas to keep team morale high and let me too know for suggestions.
- Give them as
much decision-making authority as possible over their work.
- Remove obstacles that make it hard for them
to feel “the thrill of victory”, but instead, set them up for “the agony of
defeat.”
- Don’t
do things TO your employees. Involve them in decisions that affect their day to
day work experience.
Are You Keeping
Employees In the Loop? This
is greatest mistake that many of Software professional do, by not sharing
information, Status mails etc. I guess few team members understand what I am
figuring out to say!
So , Just do it guys, that’s the best way of
sharing the responsibility and giving importance for your resources and making
them feel responsible and very much part of the team. Do CC..
- If you
want your employees to bring you their best and to know they are of value to
you. Then just make sure your presence at work is something that others can
truly be grateful for. In other words, continually ask yourself: “Am I bringing
my Best Self to Work” and “Am I treating others the way I would like to be
treated?”
- Start each meeting with the
opportunity for members to express their gratitude, such as the great service
they received from another department, or an “above and beyond the call of
duty” performance from a team member.
- Celebrate
examples of employees “going above and beyond.”
Thanks to you all for going
through this blog and please do share your learning and experiences which will
be really helpful for me and others to grow.
