The Humayu’s Tomb: entirely built of red sandstones, this gigantic tomb is considered as the precursor of Taj Mahal: one of the World’s Seven Wonders. The monument has been designated as the UNESCO World Heritage Site and is visited by a large number of foreign travellers. Outside of the tomb is a small park, where kids and youngsters can be seen having pleasurable time.

Qutub Minar: this structure is in a deplorable state, though its architectural nobility is hard to surpass over. One of the tallest minarets in the world is Qutub Minar, built by the Mughal king Qutub-ud-din Aibak in 12th century. Considering its historical significance and magnetic structural appeal, this place is no wonder one of the most visited tourist sites in Delhi. Inside the minaret are about 380 steps which can take you to the top. However, tourists are not allowed to climb up due to safety reasons.

Red fort: situated near the Old Delhi railway station, this mighty fort was built by Shah Jehan when he made Delhi is capital. This gorgeous structure is well popular for its mammoth size and eye-soothing architectural beauty. Inside the fort is a beautiful museum where many artifacts & weapon of medieval India are preserved. On Independence Days, the prime minister of India sways National Flag on red Fort.
