Why Raj Thackery is 100% Correct ?

The untold story : Raj Thackery is a major obstruction for the north Indian politicians, trying to capture Maharashtra.

The real issues, as always, have been buried under the carpet because there are too many vested interest.

The real issue is not whether Mumbai was developed by non-Maharashtrians or not, whether Mumbai belongs to Maharashtrians alone or even whether Mumbai is really a part of Maharashtra or not.

The real issues are the discrimination Maharashtrians face in the job market, THE UNCONTROLLABLE MIGRATION FROM RELATIVELY WORSE-OFF STATES AND THE RESULTANT UNWANTED DOMOGRAPHIC CHANGES. Unfortunately, no one, neither the government of Maharashtra nor the government of India , has the desire to tackle this problem. Hence, arguing that the government must tackle this problem is meaningless.

It has not, cannot and nor ever will.

Parties like MNS and worse are the only ones who can.

As for the tears shed over the loss of cosmopolitanism, how inclusive can Mumbai claim to be if such a significant section of the city, and a majority of the state’s population, is being left out in the cold?

When 69 per cent of the state’s population is excluded from its prosperity?

As for the arguments that the constitution grants freedom of movement, Maharashtrians have no desire to hear platitudes from those whose own states are not facing any problem as a result. Constitutional provisions are of no use to people facing the danger of being reduced to a minority in their own land.

The reality is that there is a finite limit to how many migrants can live in any state.

The bottom line: 500 ml of water cannot fit into a 250 ml bottle.

And those who think it can are the real anti-nationals.

All news channels and newspapers seemed to have formed a lobby against Mr. Raj Thackery. While the media is busy attacking Mr. Thackery, are they aware of the problems Maharashtians are facing because of the influx?

Nobody talks about the issues Raj Thackery has raised . Can somebody ask Lalu Yadav why 90-95% candidates selected by the railways belong to the north? Infact Lalu Yadav should be held responsible for the violence in Maharashtra . Injustice is being done to the Marathis as the railway does not advertise in Marathi papers about the jobs, whereas in other states it does.

UP politician Mulayam Singh Yadav has openly declared “UP hamara hai. Maharashtra baki hai ”, this speaks volumes of the selfish motives of north Indian politicians, who are taking too much interest in the internal affairs of Maharashtra .

Its high time to take action. Raj Thackery is 100% right. The influx has to be stopped.

Remember Raj Thackery is not against people of UP and Bihar, he is against the influx into Maharashtra. A time has come where Marathi people are suffering because of the immigrant inflow.

The media is showing only one side of the coin. What about the ruckus caused by the large number immigrants and the increase in anti-social elements. Besides the migrants disrespect the local culture.

But what can one say when an elite personality like Jaya Bachchan who has been staying in Mumbai for decades arrogantly announces that she is from UP and will only communicate in Hindi! This is the example being set for the people from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar staying in Mumbai….Shame !

The humble nature of the Marathi manoos has been taken for granted for too long now. Wherever you go in India, the local language takes precedence over the national language with the exception of North. However, people feel the pinch when the same trait is followed in Mumbai! I have example of relatives who have stayed in Kolkata, Delhi and were proud to inhabit the local culture and learn the native language

When it is in interest of Maharashtrians then suddenly everybody reminds us cosmo fabric of Mumbai

The constitution permits citizens of this country to settle down anywhere in India but I guess there will be a word called " legally " that people have conveniently overlooked

The hawker menace in Mumbai, it's going from bad to worst. Thanks to political patronage how much electricity and water is consumed illegally by slums in Mumbai. Has any print media or visual media bothered to find out from where these people have come!

Look at the Railway Recruitment Board exam episode, we get to see candidates being beaten up and all that but nobody talks about why this outrage. If you wish to smell then you will smell something fishy in the way recruitment happens for security guards by private security agencies in Mumbai, sudden rise in taxis/auto rickshaw drivers from UP/Bihar….not to forget the manipulated meters!

And finally comparing the US and UK not allowing Indians on come into their countries to work and live, with Raj Thackery’s Issues are completely baseless.

Well, firstly the US and UK have systems in place by which they CAN deny an individual legal entry into their countries on various grounds including educational, economical, political and criminal, which Maharashtra cannot and should not do to non-Marathis. Secondly the US and UK can deport, and subsequently debar an individual from their countries if found living without a job, engaging in criminal activities, working illegally etc., which Maharashtra cannot and should not do to non-Marathis. So this comparison invalid.

And finally, the issue is bigger for me than what is mostly highlighted. Marathi people are bullied into Hindi-isation of Mumbai and Maharashtra because that is more convenient for many than learning and understanding Marathi
