Finally it is end of V. Prabhakaran, The chief tiger of LTTE. Since 1972, when the LTTE was born with a positive note for liberation of Lankan Tamils. It had attracted lots of youngster and motivated to join them the LTTE. As the time progressed , The LTTE was very near to join same league of PLO and Mr. Prabhakaran was appearing as a new Yasser Arafat in making. The success remains a success till it is digested well, but unfortunately this did not happened with Tigers. They left all soft options for peace and went all out to kill any one on their way. He had committed many grave mistakes that caused today’s situation where Lankan Tigers are extinct in reality. Killing of top leaders in Srilanka and Former PM of India was the jolt on their image as “Rebels with a cause”. Undoubtedly India was one of his most prominent supporters till he’d not opted to attack below the belt. Even the Tamil Movement had become an umbrella for extortion, violence and Drug trafficking.

I am finding my self attached to LTTE story, as I was hearing about it since I’d learnt to read News paper. I was sad when hundreds of Indian soldiers got killed in IPKF operations and I was following every news on Rajeev Gandhi’s Killing. In spite of being labeled as a Terrorist, extremist, I do appreciate V. Prabhakaran for some Characteristics he’d shown over the years. Like his management & organization skills was incomparable.

Commanding three wings(land, Air, Navy & fourth is suicide brigade- the black tigers) for many years is not a joke at all. He was a perfect strategist, who knows how to plan for 100%. In this duration the war for rights had became the War for Heights and innocent Lankan Tamils were treated as Human Shields. This era was actually the beginning of his end.

Rajpakse had set an example to his closest, big brother India, that you can eradicate terrorism if you want to. If a bank corrupt country can win a huge battle against Terror, why we can not do the same in India. The main issue is our politicians, they started singing like canaries “The Tamil Song” due to elections. I am not surprised not found any comment from PMK,DMK,AIDMK etc about LTTE after 13^th May 2009, Reason polling was over. What a clear case of insensitivity. I am very much supporting Lankan government for continuing their war against LTTE even after heavy pressure from India. You can not climb Mt. Everest Halfway and return to base camp to climb remaining half, next day. Lots of innocent civilians were killed; this news was very disturbing but to fight a mammoth terror, one have to show Zero Tolerence.

Now Lankan government needs to pour huge Financial Package and seriously think about the plights of Tamilians living there, other wise, the situation can create another Prabhakaran. As he sole aim was not to eradicate a person but to eradicate the cause, which had created him.

Can we treat separatist in India, in same way, come what may.
