Dr.Swamy is the new found general of Sangh Parivar to take on the might of Nehru clan. He had hurled accusations in the past, but this time he had found a new charge - that of using Congress party funds to further personal interests of Nehru clan  Sonia and Rahul. The allegation is that Congress party extended an interest free loan to Associated press, the publishers of National Herald amounting to Rs.90 crores- to pay off labor dues to the now defunct news paper and revive it again as the party has emotional attachment. So far so good. suddenly, this debt is assigned to a not for profit company Young Indian where in Sonia and her son together with Motilal Vora and Sam Pitroda hold shares. normally loans are assigned to debt collection agents for a fee and not for not for profit companies. The fee was a whopping 89.5 crore because the assignment was done for a mere Rs.50 lacs. This was then converted in to equity shares of the publisher effectively bringing the control of the news paper to the Gandhi scions. 

If Sonia wanted to own the assets of the news paper as alleged by Dr.Swamy, she could have simply bought the residual shares from the other shareholders in a buy back operation after the loan was secured I do not know who advised her to follow this route of a take over of assets. Dr.Swamy petitioned the EC to de recognise the party which EC decled and Dr.Swamy has vowed to take it to SC. that apart, I have little admiration for Dr.Swamy for his motives are always suspect but sonia and her son need to do a lot of explaining to clear the dent in their clean image.
