MODI'S CHALLENGE
To be honest I am not an admirer of Prime Minister Narendra Damodardas Modi whom I see as an ideological challenge to the pluralstic state of India with many religions,languages and faiths co existing peacefully. However juding by the way he has conducted himself thus far as PM of India, I see no other leader good enough to be counted as a national leader of any significance. Ideology apart PM Modi has been outstanding in his thoughts and deeds thus far, putting all his energies in motivating his team members to the cause of sab ka vikas sab ke saath. Forget the occasional arrogance that probably set in on the massive landslide mandate that Modi was blesssed with by the voter, he has been tirelessly striving towards perfection in every action of his. Take Swacch Bharat, PM's Jandhan every program has a modi stamp over it. But besides all the duty he has to perform in fulfilling many of his election promises which seem impractical such as bringing back black money slashed away abroad, he has a greater task at hand This is more serious and if he manages to do that, posterity will worship him as the hero who kept this country united. He could probably be the second Sardar Patel of india. I am referring to the massive landslide victory of Arvind kejriwals' AAP in Delhi assembly elections. AAP and AK fought only on regional issues such as water problem, reducing power tariff, Swacch Delhi, cleaning up Yamuna, provision of schools, toilets , homes in rurual Delhi all of which can not be fulfilled without greater grants from the centre. Yes if AK does not deliver on his promises he has an immediate alibi in an unfriendly central government. that will fuel regionalism on an unprecedented scale.
PM Modi you now have to deliver. Please stand tall among the pygmies around you, advise restraint to your radical supporters, take all people along with you and usher in a transparent, clean and efficient administration. You should not engage in verbal duels and streetfights with AAP who will definitely needle you and provoke you. With INC yet to recover from the shocks the defeat has inflicted on it, PM Modi you need to stand tall and straigt and fight these fissiparous tendencies. This is all the more important for the nation state that India, that is bharat has come to be known as god bless you
