MEN WHO CARE FOR THE PEOPLE
I have no sympathies or support to BJP's divisive agenda. My being born a Hndu is a sheer accident. I do not support BJP's or for that matter RSS theory of racial superiority although at heart I have regards for our ancient heritage and literature. BJP has brought some younger elements who inspire confidence in people. Rajiv Pratap Rudy and Ravi Shankar Prasad are two of them, Before them it was Yashwant Sinha and Shatrugan Sinha from Bihar. But Rajiv Pratap Rudy has amazed me with his broad understanding of issues of national importance and those concerning with the lives of people. I happened to watch a program called the BIG FIGHT in ND TV on the recent utterances of our Prime Minister asking the Supreme Court to mind its own business and not trespass in to the realm of policy making. Rajiv was polite to admit that infact the Supreme Court made the observations on food grains getting rotten way back in2001 when NDA was in power but added that it was because they did not care for what Supreme Court said, they were voted out. the fiasco of Shining India and whining Bharat has had a telling effect while the Aam Adhmi man Dr.Singh has been dismissive about a well meaning suggestion of the Supreme court to distribute the grains to the poor and needy in whatever way they can. Rudy inspired me with his approach to this problem - did not hesitate to mince words while describing Dr.Singh's utterances unbecoming of any man with concern for the underprivileged and the poor. One of the panelists reminded the Prime minister that the Court ordered the grains to be distributed to the needy, the poorest of the poor and not to the entire lot of 37% of our populations acknowledged to be below poverty line by Suresh Tendukar. It was a twisting of facts by the Prime Minister which needs to be reprimanded for the sheer brutality. Rudy did just that. Even Ajith singh agreed that the order needs to be dispassionately taken under extra ordinary circumstances. But till now,PM seems to be unrepentant about it. some one asked from the crowd as what is BJP doing in this issue? Rudy retorted that they are working overtime to send this senseless Government packing lock stock and barrel.
Rudy you deserve to be in power.
