NOW WHO IS LYING?
The day a Justice Tiwari delivered his much awaited judgment in the Bhopal Gas disaster, which is viewed by all as a mockery of justice, Former CJI Justice Ahmadi gave interviews to two TV Channels claiming that he did not water down the charges to causing death due to negligence from Causing death by culpabable homicide not amounting to murder. He said there is no provision in the law to punish the guilty in such disasters and he stood by his judgment. He had countered further that no one bothered to file a review petition if it was felt that the judgment has watered down the charges. activist Prakash promptly gave another interview stating that the CJI is lying as he dismissed his review petition off hand without bothering to go through the merits. He has stated that all these are recorded in the SC records for any one to verify. If it were so, and if it is found to be true, the learned Judge had to repent and has to face charges for having done an incalculable damage to our society by abetting the perpetrators of the hienous crime against humanity to go scot free. Another CBI officer has claimed that they were told to soft pedal the issue. This allegation also needs to be investigated further. When a former OSD of Advani came forward to level accusations against him in the Ramjanmabhoomi case, the ruling party clans came shouting and utilised the opportunity to embarass Advani. Now it is their turn to face music. Will the Government order an enquiry in to allegations of CBI officer that he was in fact told to soft pedal the issue? if so who ordered him to go slow? In this same investigation one should also investigate the factors and circumstances that led to the present Home Minister, Former Commerce Minister, and Dy chairman of Planning commission writing to PMO to relieve Du Pont from conspiracy charges and liabilities arising out of that. Will this atleast now open the eyes of Dr Manmohan singh who is adamant to get the nuclear liability bill passed in Parliament to appease Nuclear lobby of USA? Is he accountable to the people of India or to corporate lobbyists of USA? We look forward to Ms.Sonia Gandhi to get to the bottom of the truth in all these allegations to provide her bonafides as a protector of the poor. Bhopal Gas victims require your sympathy Madam.
