The Annual Alumni Chapters’ Meet, Sanidhya 2011
The Annual Alumni Chapters’ Meet, Sanidhya ’11 was conducted during May by Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneshwar (XIMB) in Kolkata, Chennai, New Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Mumbai. The event saw a huge number of participation from XIMB Alumni including CEOs, Directors, Entrepreneurs, VPs etc. from different industries and domains.
XIMB celebrated its Silver Jubilee this year and with this, it plans for a significant discussion at the meets in each of the 6 cities. Eminent members of the institute like Director Fr. P. T Joseph, Dean (Academics), Dr. Subhajyoti Ray, Dean (Administration) Fr. P.D. Thomas were present in the event. Various aspects of life at the institute, and progress plans were shared with the eminent members present, followed by an open house discussion, in order to gather inputs from those present and build a holistic perspective in matters of importance.
The event was participated by current students at XIMB from its different programs, prospective students and aspirants joining XIMB this year also turned up at the event in order to get a glimpse of XIMB and to interact with their seniors, alumni and faculty members, about academic and industry related queries.
Through this kind of event, the reputed and well-placed alumni are always made to take part in making the institute more better. The suggestions given by the Alumni have always been of great help in the progress of the institute taking it to great heights and further strengthening brand XIMB. The spirit of entrepreneurship amongst the bright minds of the institute is also fostered by interacting with entrepreneurs and business leads present at the event. The final event will be conducted in July in Bhubaneshwar.
