Advocate Pranab Sarkar, Vice President about Tele & Cine Technician, Artists, Self Employment Union
ABOUT US
Our Trade unions that represent people at work. Our purpose is to protect and improve people's pay and conditions of employment. We also campaign for laws and policies which will benefit working people. Our Union exists because an individual worker has very little power to influence decisions that are made about his or her job. By joining together with other workers, there is more chance of having a voice and influence. All sorts of jobs and industries are covered by trade unions. Some unions represent people who do a particular job or work in a specific industry - for example some unions include a mixture of people in different jobs and sectors. The biggest unions in Britain - the GMB, UNISON and the Transport and General Workers Union (TGWU) represent people working in a range of different occupations and industries in the public and private sectors. Often this is because unions have merged with other unions so that they can increase their membership and their influence.

TCTASEU is a family in which everyone shares other’s happiness and sorrow. Our Union carries same importance of information information & Culture as well as labour department tied up with equal gravity.
TYPE OF WORK
Our duty is to solve the way to achieve improvement of labourers
irrespective of caste, creed and religion as well as leaving behind
isolation among then belonging to different castes and religious
patronising no ideology of any certain political party, maintaining no
disparity in working field.
OUR FIGHT
The Union always speaks steadfastly in the battle to capture
economic and social right of all Technicians, Artists and journalists
working in Television and Cinema. This Union raises the voice of
demand too for the expansion of right and freedom of all the members
of all labour unions. At the same time it has been running with a
steady battle to establish an ideal democratic structure based on all
types freedom and protection according to the ideology of labour
Agitation.
Moreover we have been continuing to show agitation to secure
adequate social protection and security for all Artists and
Journalists of Television and Cinema and to start the Government life
protection Scheme like Provident Fund, and E.S.I. for saving their
families from the grasp of any type of accident.
Our fight is going on to establish the demands of all
artists, Technicians and Journalists keeping own entity intact and to
bring all labour unions under an exclusive roof having absolute
majority without being competitor against each other.
Child labour is a critical problem and poverty as well
as lack of education are the main causes of Country’s Socio-economic
crisis. Abolition of child labour through proper job facilities is an
inevitable duty. Though the Constitution is helping regarding this,
though complete eradication of child labour is not possible,
nevertheless our struggle is going on against it through over all
Communication. The Producers want to finish their productions, to make
all artists and journalists work for huge time in exchange for very
little remuneration. Not only this, after completion of work they
discharge them whimsically with any created cause.
