Childhood and violence are supposed to be the two opposite end of the rod which will never meet but these days we can easily notice that small kids behave more violently than the elder one. Today the parents and teachers are shocked to find violence in the behavior of the kids, which was supposed to be quite and calm. The parents are now more concerned for their child because of their violent and aggressive activities. These days every second day or three there is news about the destruction made by the youth in school or the student was found behaving violently.

Today’s youth is really very short tempered and frustrated ,at any moment if he feels he has been insulted or scolded he get irritated and at that time we can easily smell the feeling of revenge from the students in the school which is the root cause of such activities. School violence mainly include slapping ,beating, use of weapons in school against the faculty or authorities just after they have been punished by them or if there is any disputes among the students of the institution. Earlier also we had heard about such activities taking place in schools and colleges but negligence of authorities at that particular moment had made it a severe problem today.

There could be many reasons for school violence. Family of the kid is the first teacher from where he starts learning and every child has a deep influence of his home and its environment at his mind and attitude. There are many families in the society which lacks in adequate knowledge of living and family disciplines. Such families play an important role in creating violence in aggressive behavior in children, because they are unable to provide them the proper knowledge of culture, morals and social values. They are unable to explain the child his/her responsibility towards the society. We all know that today poverty and joblessness are some serious problems due to which there are lot of tension in families which later on arises domestic violence. In such conditions the aggression and frustration takes birth in the child which led to violence in school.

Many a time’s racial difference and intolerance force the kid to react aggressively. Today the barrier of caste and race has been totally banned in schools, which is good but at the same time the mental level of thinking, beliefs, appearance had a vast difference, which later on creates issues and tensions among the children. Teacher’s pointing their favorites and favoring them is also a strong reason of violence and disturbances.

It has been noticed that today that joint families which are full of moral values are turning into modern one with no limitation and bonds . Everyone is running after money and we can easily see both husband and wife working , due to which they are unable to pay proper attention to their kids and many a times they are unable to look and solve the problems of the child. As there is no one to guide them for what is wrong and what is right they at times when scolded for misbehave feels insulted and thus create insecurity in them which led to violence in their behavior.

Its we who are responsible for the every act of the child and only we by changing ourselves could change the behavior .we should give our children the proper knowledge and importance of art of living.
