how to know someones ip address by comand prompt

today we are going to learn how to know someones ip address in LAN thru comand prompt.
first go to start in windows xp.
click run and type "cmd" (without quotes).
now
just type "ipconfig" (without quotes) and press enter.
you would see your ip address in brackets.
this your ip address.
now type "net view"
you would see all the user's names in your network.
select any one of those user that you wish to know.
then
type "tracert (username)" {without brackets & quotes}
you will find the IP address of the user.
