I came to IT, from a remote area. My father is a farmer and my mother a homemaker. My brother is 10th pass and working as supervisor in an oil factory in a town in CG. My Sister younger to me got married, just after appearing in 12th class.

The Journey So Far:
I started my journey as a faculty in a small town and then moved to non-metropolitan as a Corporate Trainer. After that I started my career as a System Administrator in a MNC, now working as a Senior Software Engineer in a MNC on ITIL framework.
Job Profile:
 Reviewing of Change Records and auditing it for compliance or non compliance based on the criteria set by the client.  Preparing report of the Audited Change Records and sharing it with the Client VP and Managers.  Answering the questions or concerns raised by the client for the non-conformance
The Decisions That Matter
doing BCA degree on my own, Earning an ITIL Certification. working as a Corporate Trainer.
Career Profile:
Currently working on Compliance and Audit of Changes, Reviewing the things whether compliance of non-compliance, so working more in backstage. Previously was working in front end - Like Problem, Incident Change, deriving it to closure, interacting with the client. handling multiple applications.
Degrees That Matter:
I have completed Juniper (JNCIA), completed MCP, and completed ITIL v3 in 2009 Dec, but I want to go for intermediate, but due to financial conditions, i will do it someday in my life, as I dont have family support, when money matters. Also want to do PMP, CMMi.
Working Life Management:
Doing smart work, like creating macros for routine activity, helps me getting more time for other work, also delegation of work, team working, never let me do take office work to home. Listening to Boss and subordinates and acting according makes the things much simple.
Done Differently:
I would score numerous international certification on my interesting subjects. Also I would like to open a Guide forum, where the youth can take advantage and guidance on what they want to pursue. I would like to utilize those days where I was not able to study due family reasons.
Plans For The Future:
I Would be working somewhere as a Change Manager (ITIL)
Changes In The Professional Environment:
the competition is more cut-throat, youth are much aware of their dreams. Lot of guidelines, much more opportunities, lot of companies. globalisation has made world small.
Growth Strategy:
At anytime in life, dont stop learning, achieving knowledge about the new technologies. dont forget your root and basics. Always try new things and explore the sea of knowledge. Always work together as a team, help and appreciate your team mate. Initiate anything needs to be done and take to closure
Other Thoughts:
I am proud as a self made man. though there were no one in family to guide me, what to do, where to go, what course should I opt for. I started my journey from bhilai(CG) as a faculty with starting salary of 1500, now working in an MNC as a Senior software Engineer. this is my life achievement.

All publications from OGC, itSMF group, lot of forums and websites on ITIL.
Advice For New Professionals:
Join the area, which interests you, dont join which is done by maximum. Dont try to multitask, but be expert in your field and select only one path. Dont try to hard work, but always do smart work with all your skills, helping others. sincerity is the path to success, whatever you want to achieve.
