I would like to submit my comment on President of India who preached sermon when he was addressing an all India Lokayuktas Conference yesterday. He admitted that corruption is a plague in India . When corruption is a plague and he admits it, what he has done during past eight years when he was in government, what Congress Party has done during last 50 years of rule .

I expect that Pranab who holds the topmost post of the country should not try to befool Indians by preaching sermons now. Please do not try to protect corrupt in the name of honest. Past record of UPA government of which Pranab Da was also a part till recent past, clearly speak that the UPA government has been consistently and shamelessly only protecting corrupt officers and corrupt politicians and torturing for killing whistle blowers and sending individuals like Balkrishna to jail on flimsy ground who raised voice  against corruption and black money.

While speaking on passing of Lokpal Bill, he assured that the same will be passed very soon. He says "The Lok Pal Bill is before Parliament. New laws for imposing sanctions for bribery by foreign agents, transparency in public procurement, citizens' grievances redressal etc are also under consideration. All these must strengthen existing institutions of accountability not displace them or undermine them",

I would like to ask when PRANAB DA was in government for 8 years and specially when as FM, he made no such efforts. Further he means to say about the same Jokpal Bill which made mockery of Janlokpal Bill proposed by Team Anna. He still advocates powerless Lokpal in line with the offices of CBI and CVC so that ministers can force them to dance as their puppet.

UPA government can force CBI to frame charges against innocent Balkrishna in a few months and send him to jail but cannot force CBI to do the same for Salman Khurshid for his unlawful act in the capacity of Law Minister of the country. UPA government can institute inquiry by CBI, IT and ED against Mr Gadkari within a few days of allegation but not do the same against Mr.  Vadra, or Mr Rahul .

Hundreds of complains are  lodged everyday in the office of President of India and on website of President of India by several Indian from various corners of the country , but perhaps he has done nothing to punish the culprit. Personal Assistants working in his office has been perhaps directing to refer all cases to some department and then remain silent without caring for final outcome. This is Indian culture of functioning.

In a rare admission by the government, ( see ET dated 03.11.2012) even the finance Minister Mr. Chidambram yesterday acknowledged that projects stuck across key sectors as on September 2012 had reached the highest since 2005, when the number of such delayed projects was less than 100. Policy paralysis and bureaucratic delays peaked between September 2011 and June 2012 - a period in which Pranab Mukherjee, now the President of India was the finance minister - when as many 300 projects came to a halt with approvals held up at various government departments.

With due respect to Pranab da I request him to do something to create good image of the country or he can do so through his directions to current government .Please stop mutual mud-linging process going on in the country which is adversely affecting the image of the country in international forums .
