Eligibility required for the various courses:
Various courses for undergraduate programs are offered in SSN College of Engineering for different Engineering streams. The course duration will be of 4 years. Candidates who have completed their 10+2 with Science, as their main subject are eligible to apply for this program.Postgraduate programs are offered in the fields of Engineering, Management and Computer Application. The course duration for Engineering and Management is 2 years while the course duration for the Master of Applications is 3 years. Candidates with a B. Tech or B.E. degree are eligible to apply for Master’s degree in Engineering. For an MBA program, the eligibility criteria is a graduate degree in any stream while for an MCA program, the candidate needs to have a graduate degree with mathematics as a subject. All the candidates have to go through a State level or National level entrance examination in order to get admission for all of the above mentioned programs.
Admission Procedure for various courses:
Admissions for the graduate and postgraduate programs are done according to the norms of the Anna University. The marks that a candidate scores in his/her XII class along with the entrance exam score will be considered while selecting the candidate for the undergraduate program. For admission in the Master of Engineering programs, the marks scored in the B.E. or B. Tech program along with the score of the entrance exam will be required. Likewise, for getting admission in postgraduate programs for Management and Computer Application, the marks obtained in the qualifying undergraduate exam as well as the score of the entrance exam are required.
