There are many who wish to be a leader some day and they do conquer their dreams but after reaching their destination are not able to fulfill the demands of that position. Leadership does not mean only acquiring a heavy income every month or misusing your position to boss around someone. You need to think beyond yourself. When you are an employee, you have the responsibility of you and your family but when you are the pilot you are accountable for your crew members as well.

It is essential to gain your employees trust to make them work effectively. If your employee shares camaraderie with you, it can be useful as well as amiss. Being too friendly backfires because then your employee can take you for granted and being too oppressive can make them unlike you. Maintaining a balance is the key. Befriend them when it is necessary but maintain distance.

While handling over a task, do not over-burden your employee. One can do a task on the basis of the potential he/she possesses. Working beyond ones caliber reflects in the quality of work and it results in mental and physical downturn. An employee without a steady mind and body cannot contribute intimately.

A good leader is the one who can put his employees sweat to good use and show prompt aftermath.
