Would Pakistan Act Against Terrorist?
Big question...Pakistan assured full cooperation against 26/11terrorist ,but soon went on denial mode..Pakistan refuses to acceptkasav as their citizen..Yes they did take some actions..When UN bannedJammat-UD-Dawa ,pak acted...But soon pakistan's pm had to tell media-'That they are not doing this to appease india but abiding to un asresponsible country'....Zardari said in joint press conference with Mrbrown (pm of britian) that india didnt intrude its air space but fourdays later pak filed official complain...Geo Tv did sting opeationproving kasav is pakistani ,in return one of ppp's member filled casein court against Ge0 TV....When usa,uk gave few proofs ,it wasdismissed calling it no enough for the court...As an indian we may askwhy all these?? .
To understand this we must under pakistan's internal politics...Itsfamous and common quote nowadays that 'Every country has army ,but inpakistan army has country'...Now why and how did army became sopowerful?...
Its common human emotion that fear of survival is biggest fear..Armyseems to be pak's answer to this fear...Fear of overtaken by largerneigbour..Since army defends it became powerful to call theshots...Pakistan has been ruled more by army than democracy in is 60years of independence...
Their internal politics has been based on more anti india policies(though have decreased substantially in last decade ) ,than economicdevelopment ...
Its this emotion which makes pakistan government go soft ofterrorist...Since they were breeded by pakistan itself..since they werenurtured in name of kashmir freedom ,now totally eliminating them forsake of usa,india is really really tough for them..
Average pakistani citizen believe what officials say to them and itsbut obvious..They are seeing as being bullied by india and their selfrespect doesnt allow that...
India and pakistan have fought three official war and one unofficialwar (kargil)...Pakistan claims to have won 1965 air war ,lost 1971because of political blunder and has nothing to do with kargil...Butneutral sources ,defence expert truely believe that india has mushsuperirority than pakistan as far as war goes...Pakistan officials dontadmit this and wrongly feed their citizens...
So pakistan is in fix now..It has to take care of external pressure,at same time they have to pretend of not bowing to india's wish...Theycreated taliban ,let,jammat but now are forced to act against their owncreation!!!!!!!!!!!....
Its not easy...Zardari was right when he said pakistan is sufferingfrom cancer but he would need time to cure it...Zardari was also rightwhen he said acting against terrorist is in their own interest (both toavoid war ,also for their threat from taliban)
But how much time is big question...Also the infastructure which took 25 years to evolve ,can that be broken in short period.?
