Building Afresh With a new group of dedicated, raw volunteers within a short span of time under challenging obstacles.
(a) Aged between 15 to 85 years,
(b) A marching practice of about two hours a day for less than a month.

(c) Many not knowing their Left from their Right
(d) Let alone marching, Many of them not even able to walk straight, look straight ahead, or swing their arms straight.

(e) Cannot stand for long hours with old age problems, etc.
(f) Need to come from long distances and be on time for the practice at early hours of the day.
(g) No salaries, participating as only volunteers, getting a little more than the bus charge they'd have to spend.
(h) All the bottlenecks and hindrences from the home front , relatives and friends, etc.
(i) Many relatives criticising that this is a Governament promoted activity and hence bound to fail, when we started this movement of Civil Defence more than a year ago. Etc., Etc, I could go on with many other hindrence points we faced on the Field.
We never lost hope and went on ahead
But Today all our efforts are bearing excellent results. We have been winning one or the other award every month for some exemplary services . Though we do not do any activities for any awards, recognition or praise but only as a selfless service to humanity and passion for our country India..
