Are you Bangalored......?

Mr.Narasimha Rao, 10th Prime Minister of India, who guided and laid the foundation for globalization during his tenure did play a major role, today what we see our country’s IT facet at its best.

Minister for External Affairs Mr.S.M.Krishna, with his full-fledged effort did add to the inputs provided by Mr.Rao to mould Bangalore which gained the title ‘Silicon City’, development phase in Information Technology begun starting 1999 which was inevitable at the same time indispensable.

With development phase in full swing Bangalore became and is ‘bread earning city’ for rest of the citizens in India. Bangalore’s intake in the form of company, people etc. did reach sky heights.

Within a span of 10years maximum is earned and earned in the form of wealth, name and fame etc. “Anything which goes up needs to come down”, as the impact of slow down even Bangalore isn’t spared with the city witnessing job cut’s, layoff and so on.

Post evacuation of being Bangalored, the city is again heading towards development phase firmly and slowly. It is necessary for people to commute, immaterial of the form of transport. But bringing Metro to Bangalore is a debatable aspect. Waking-up late on a Sunday seldom one loses the entire day doing nothing and repenting later is of no good. It seems to be the same case with the overall development of Bangalore.

Road widening on most of the major roads across the city has become the order of the day. If this phase of development was carried on say 3-4 years ago, there wasn’t need for the so called ‘Metro Project’ which involves higher risks and was visible to naked eyes at the foundation stages itself.

With fixed population moving out of the city, it is high time to give thought on development, particularly sectorial.
