    I regret to inform you that the world is not serious to look at degradation of the environment. The world leaders know the alternate means of energy is available i.e. the Hydrogen. It is high time for the world to freeze the oil fields and run all automobiles/ aviation/ marine ships/ rails on HYDROGEN as applicable. It is 0% pollution in the atmosphere - the well-known fact. The technology has to be changed otherwise the planet earth is doomed for the reason of global warming. The wars across the continents have to stop being fought for the economic greed and supremacy. The world leaders have to think of other means of rich earnings out instead of exploiting the oil fields in form of foreign exchange/taxes/ excise duties etc. After 9/11 tragedies the oil prices have shot up to US $ 100 a barrel.

     

    This is no human behavior, for the greed of extra bucks the environment is risked to its extreme tolerance. The Glaciers/ Antarctic/ Artic snow is disappearing at extreme rate, the rivers / ground water levels are drying up. The donations to World Wildlife Fund makes no sense since they too have no control on the environment - the animals/ bird species are still struggling to survive due to merciless human nature. Resources should be spent more on educating the rural population in China/ India and other populated countries so that they also understand that the control on birth rate saves the environment too. Lesser the population, better it is for the environment.

     

    It is a wake up call only for the world to know the truth. Who knows next time while the world is celebrating NEW YEAR another huge Tsunami hits the continents!!
