A BJP leader Pramod Mahajan was brutally killed by his own brother Pravin for hither to unknown reason and for that Pravin was sentenced to life imprisonment. Recently he was released on parole. We know all that. Interesting part of the episode is that this Pravin did not show any remorse and till the last moment he did justify his act saying that his brother deserved to be killed the way it happened.

Pravin gave a few interviews during his parole period and was talk of the town. He has also written a book on this life but even in that book he has not mentioned why he had to kill his brother. There are many gossips in and around the city telling that Pravin was in need of money and he wanted to have access to Pramod’s secret account; to that Pramod declined ruthlessly and that irked Pravin, being hot tempered and headstrong by nature he decided to punish Pramod because he trusted somebody out of the family. The punishment was fetal; he simply killed him at point blank range.

During the time Pravin was enjoying his parole he did not show any sign of being in any brain problem and so this sudden attack of brain hemorrhage appears to be suspicious. Many different conjectures are under considerations. Some say the stroke he suffered was due to a fetal blow on his neck by some hard substance, probably a metal bar.

On the eve of his joining the jail he was invited to give an interview and while he was giving that interview he fell and ever since that time he remained unconscious till his demise. I was told by one news reporter that doctors noticed that Pravin had bruises on his hind part of the head near neck; he was probably hit by some hard substance on his neck or part of the head close to that. They suggested that the stroke Pravin received was not due to any internal defect but surely was due to this blow. Surprising enough this matter was systematically, as if planned, kept out of discussion. It was declared in the news papers that his body was taken for post mortem as per the procedure, sure enough; however in that report this injury to neck and near about portion of the head is not mentioned! Why? Is government trying to save of cover somebody?

Let us presume that while Pravin was being interviewed some body struck him on his back and he fell. If this has happened then the person who interviewed Pravin was actually watching the man who hit Pravin. This hypothesis clearly indicates that the last interview of Pravin was preplanned to get him in the trap of some people who of course, wanted him dead. More study of this incidence reveals many more possibilities.

They are; the man who hit knew where to hit and how to hit so that Pravin will not die there and then but goes into coma and the subsequent death will be passed as natural death. To go to the depth of this I feel interviewer of that interview and the people present at that time should be put to investigation to know more about the event. Since an important person like Pravin was being interviewed, it must have been covered by a TV channel or some private camera. Clippings from that shoot will show everything clearly, nevertheless, we do not hear of any such coverage. Following queries come to mind,

Who was taking interview?

Who were present during the interview?

Was it being covered by any filming or video shooting?

I and many of my friends suggest that if these questions are taken up seriously people will come to know how it actually happened. One more thing is that the post mortem report of Pravin should be published (without any manipulation) for the satisfaction of people.

If it was an attempt to kill Pravin by who so may be, since it is an attempt to murder police should take up the matter and do the investigation. The probable killer is not an ordinary person, since he has done a perfect crime. Police must know of him so that from that they can establish many other crimes those might have happened in the city. I shall say the modus operandi used in planning to kill Pravin is superb and police should take a note of it. We may call it “remote killing”.

Some analysis by some self styled investigator say the pointer of suspicion goes on Rahul Mahajan, son of late Pramod mahajan. He has a solid reason to kill Pravin since, Pramod was his father and the intention is obviously to revenge the death of his father.

Going back to the history of this case we see that in company of Rahul manager of Pramod died suspiciously. Rahul, we may say by surmise; drugged him and to avoid blame took some safe dose of the same drug to create safe alibi. Smart killers are capable of all these things, expert say. And more gossip to go on. I believe Rahul can tell the name of the killer if taken to task by some real police officer. We shall know who killed Pravin Mahajan.
