BJP Using IT
BJP is utilizing IT in full force for its election campaigning. It is connecting all state headquarters and districts through WAN and has plans to adapt cent percent open source technologies. This party ahs decided to use IT driven solutions in the upcoming LOK Sabha election aswell. They have also decided to appoint IT experts in the LOK Sabha constituencies to empower technology dirven election campaigns.
BJP has decided to connect all its state headquaters in first phase and district headquarters subsequently. It has already implemented automation in several offices by establishing wired and wireless connectivity. local server rooms etc..
The party has also developed an open-source IP-Based unified communication(UC) system that facilitates IP-Based telephony, IM, and video telephony in both individual and broadcast modes.
Congress
The congress on the other hand had promised that it will connect all villages to a broadband network in three years if it comes to power. IT has also promised to upgrade technical capabilities of panchayat institutioins . It also pledges to conect every village to a broadband network in 3-years

Hope congress promise are not written in water :)
Congress is hesitant to do what ever it has said or take any good decision may be they need to improve on it. BJP on the other hand are too fast and lot of innovative ideas .. This doesnt mean am supporting this party but looking at the past records, in a very short period during the BJPs rule it has done lot compared to congress
