Worthless election

I’m very much happy to be part of the formation of government……but is my vote a worthy one????Last time, I pressed one of the buttons on EVM (electronic voting machine) and provided my choice……along with me, many more conscious citizens did so……having some faiths on the person that showed dreams and that signed a promising contract……and yeah!“Congress” is flushed with pride this time (I’m talking about my state, Assam)……may be because the dreams they showed and the promises they made, might have satisfied the thousands, millions hearts and minds……ok, someone have to win whether Congress or some other parties……but as a common man what we want????

During campaigning, when a politician comes near to nearer, no one ever tries to peep inside for the real motives that are hidden beneath the beautiful pressed kurta……instead; we are lured by the ever organized words that are wrapped in silver-papers……even if someone dare to try, the selfishness cuts its hands......actually, we are as the traveler travelling through desert and being cheated by the beautiful mirage……this is very practical……I saw many such persons who proudly call themselves ‘the side-line of the leader’……these men change their cars every week, imagine! Are they really benefitted or one of the horses that lost the track????

In one of the local news channels, there was breaking news couple of days back that in recent election, almost all the nominated leaders paid bribes to some anti-social elements for the peaceful campaigning and “VICTORIES”……this is to be mind that the man with selflessness and strong in words……the man with the skill of showering peace and the man of noble-experience……need to shake hands with those extra citizens......why????If he is the real leader, amongst the common man and love to be amongst them, he must not bear any burden of fear in his ever busy mind……instead, he must be ever-ready to accept the real truth......but……this must be because during tenure, the leaders sweat themselves for profiteering themselves and now fearing the damnation……one of the ministers here after reserving his seat in assembly, presented a beautiful car showroom to his wife on her B-day (this is just like a drop in an ocean)……these days whenever there is any B-day party or wedding party, he presents car to his nearer and dearer one……do he really got any mercy for the common people who sewed victory for him????No, not at all but playing with the faiths of his fellow men……is this not a horrendous execution of power???

In Assam these days the extremists are very much active…..they rock Guwahati often……actually, they are playing hide and seek with the Government and we, the common people are the scapegoat in this game……I was there when 10/30 shook the Assam; fleshes, bloods scattered everywhere as if somebody played Holi mercilessly……some bodies were like a roasted-chicken, ready to be served……(ah! I can’t draw the flashback anymore)……still the government couldn’t learn any lesson……again, some days back, extremists showed their present, scaring each and every heart of the innocence……how this could happen???? The governments (central and state) promised to provide securities……ok, they kept their words and provided securities……throughout Guwahati security personnel stay alert round the clock……but still the extremists are succeeding in their missions and this can possible only when they shook hands with the man of powers......I’m in puzzle……the Governments promised for the securities, but what kind of securities, they promised for???? The families of the persons that were kill in the blasts are being paid compensations by the government……as soon as the blast over, the leader of the ministers announced compensations for the kin of those killed……is this the security facilitated by the Government????This means that they let us to be killed, and then they will pay for that……isn’t a good deal!!!!

The Nature too entrapped the innocent people in its ever blessed violent mesh……last year, these people were being homelessness due to flood that merciless mighty Brahmaputra River spread its existence……yeah! Many political leaders took opportunities and unwilling they went to the people and posed for the shoot (camera) ……the government again announced for the assistances but I fear that none of them got any kind of assistances......instead, the chief minister Tarun Gogoi heard the hue and cry of the people outside his state and saw their sufferings......and this may be because he wear spectacles!!!! He transferred some valuable bucks from the fund of the State to the Relief fund for the people of Bihar......kind hearted person!!!!Ok, you should be......but when your own home needs your help, so at that time how you can think of the other???? Again the rainy season just going to arrive but none of the dams that eroded last year are repaired……then what security the government is talking about???? Why the politicians are forgetting the very reality that without people a country cannot ever exist???? I’m very much aware of “ the goodness of the Congress Government”……The Congress distributes Computers to every children throughout Assam who ever got first position in their High School Examinations and this Government also opened a free Ambulance Service in Assam……but the ambulance never comes in time……superb Congress!!!! The Government also laid foundation for new Medical Colleges and renovating the existing Medical Colleges……but this Government failed in providing primary medical assistance to the rural people due to which many innocence lives are being lost on the away to Private Nursing Homes in the urban nearby……so, what the Government thinks to do???? By opening new Medical Colleges, providing Ambulance Services and distributing Computers, is Government really helping the people???? How many poor children will get their seats in these Colleges and do they have any strength to enroll themselves???? These questions are to be mind……

As a man with hands and legs what can be expected from us???? We have to be dumb and deaf……but due to this dumbness and deafness we are being immolated by the VVIPs……standing for several hours in queue, living everything behind just to pressed a button for their victories……is this the prize in return???? If all these happen in democratic country, what is the meaning of democracy then???? The Government of the people, by the people and for the people is just an erroneous definition……instead, it should be “the Government of the powerful, by the powerful and for the powerful”......and “the Government of Criminality”
