A 'far-off' Minister takes moral responsibility and offers 'to escape guilt pangs and after effects’ by quitting, when the concerned Airline, which is the nearest imaginable Owner does not say a thing or set in motion a preventive action. The PM's role in such instances seems to be, to politely decline to accept, rather than talk to the people of the country, assuage feelings and take a pledge to improve governance, administration and other technicalities of doing its job in an excellent manner. The Black Box mystery is just that. When was the last time we had a clear unraveling of what actually transpired and thereon a lessons learnt approach? Is this Black Box really black after all? For example, the Afzal Guru hanging has been lying at the desk of an incompetent Government for years -not bothering to take a decision on some perceived and imagined law & order problem. This despite the highest court in the land declaring the he should be hanged and rightfully so. The Prime Minister ought to involve and engage the people of the country in meaningful discussions and elicit views and opinions through the elected members of parliament, experts and the kind. Take the best ideas regardless of the source. Is this happening? Sadly, we have one of the worst leaderships in the history of India!
