Now, bell the CAT through animation
Animated presentations, which are usually part of smart classes in schools, have made their importance felt in competitive exams like CAT as well. Now, one can "bell the CAT" through the concept that has been launched by Career Cafe, an academy for CAT aspirants.
Talking about it, cafe owner Vamsi Krishna Chaudhary said, "Ours is perhaps the first academy in India to launch animated preparation for CAT. It is the team work of seven classmates, including I. While six of our team members are working in Bangalore in different companies at present, I have come up with this academy here."
He said, "The basics of CAT will be taught to students through animation and will be free of cost. The animation course will be of 30 days. After that, we will switch over to advanced course, that is testing students online and elaborating and clearing the basic concepts. Although it was the first day today, we got a good response and enrolled 26 students. More are expected to join in the coming days."
He said to "bell the CAT with digital mouse", using animation, makes the basic concepts more interesting. "It is my brain child. I believe whatever students see in this theatre will be etched in their minds. I have cleared CAT five times with 100 percentile. It took us about a year to give a final shape to the project. There are three sections in CAT - Quant, DI-DS and verbal. I will handle the first two sections myself and teach them through animation," said Vamsi, who hails from Bangalore.
About his future plans, Vamsi said, "My book, The complete quantitative aptitude for MBA entrance, is expected to come out in April this year and I am also going to launch my own website MBAspecial."
