Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) is conducted each year for students who aspire to do MBA, MCA, ME, M.Tech, M.Arch, M.Plan as their post graduate degree course.

TANCET 2010 is to be conducted by Anna University Chennai on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu on 29th and 30th May 2010, from candidates who seek admission to M.B.A., M.C.A., and M.E. / M.Tech. / M.Arch. / M.Plan. Degree Programmes in Tamil Nadu for the year 2010-2011.

TANCET Entrance Exam is not limited to candidates of Tamil Nadu only, but admission will be subject to fulfillment of the eligibility conditions of the admitting authorities of the Universities/Colleges. The TANCET will be conducted in various centres in Chennai, Coimbatore, Erode, Karaikudi, Tirunelveli, Vellore, Chidambaram, Salem, Thanjavur, Villupuram, Virudhunagar, Nagercoil, Madurai and Karaikudi.

TANCET MBA Entrance Test will have sections like Business situation analysis, Reading comprehension, Quantitative Section, Data sufficiency, Verbal ability.
