This reminds me of incident which took place in  2003-2004.

I had just bought an Acer ( Win mobile 5.0 ) based mobile phone. It was from a company AnnexTEK SP230. This was a mobile smartphone where you had to use both hands to operate. Hold the phone with one hand and use the stick to operate and select the menu items.

As Windows design , the screen will drop from the top.

User may loose the stick or forget it , it would become difficult to use this piece afterwards. Though a spare stick was provided out of the box.

I felt the usability could have been improved by making the drop down screen larger , so that it can be selected using fingers.
