Corrupt Government Officials
A recent incident in the State of Kerala,caught the attention of the public, that one of the top police officials, was misusing the Government money for leisurely world tours.He was caught and the media exposed it and the officer was suspended.He approached the CAG and the case is still going on.A minister in the Karnataka Ministry has been sued for committing rape.
The recent incidents of scam,scandals,corruption,bribery all this is really ruining the reputation and dignity of officials in the state administration.There are thousands of such officials within the country, who are corrupt to the core.In spite of misusing the powers and by misappropriating the privileges allowed to them,there are many who resort to even bribes showered by industrialists.It is a bare truth well-known to higher authorities and the public but what use?Every state and every city should have a public forum to raise voice against such corrupt officials and get them out of service.
Take the case of mining in Karnataka,killing rivers, forests all done under the purview of the state authority.Who gave them the right to misuse the natural resources of a state?They should be branded as the most unscrupulous criminals who should be abandoned from the nation itself. All natural resources that we are supposed to enjoy are being looted by some politicians or industrialists for their growth.Who is benefiting out of it?Importing our natural resources without the approval of the central government or judiciary?Where will we go for all this in future if they deplete all this and build up their own empire? Will there be water,forest,or air for us to breathe in?
Industrialists,contractors are the kind of people who are approaching Government officials at a higher rank and bribing them to get things done in a smooth manner.These officers have good influence on Ministerial staff( bribing and collecting money for the partyand the officers can vouch that they are people who can throw money for our party during elections)who can approach the ministers and get the job done.People holding IAS cadre and IFS cadre are becoming the most corrupt among all, eating bribe money, from industrialists and other influential people.For all the favours done for the rich and influential,in return the business tycoons are arranging all comforts for these administrative men from one city to the other.Free stay in reputed hotels and free ride in their car for sightseeing with whole family, membership in clubs etc etc. We are losing the face of the proud and dignified officials who were serving the public and the Government with honesty.The space is getting filled by money minded,corrupt and immoral officers who are not beneficial and who are of utter shame to the whole community.It is high time for the judiciary and the executing power to open their eyes and resort to effective actions against these officials who are enjoying the "extra perks" thrown to them by some rich dragon. Even in educational field,fake certificates sold for lakhs where many retired professors,lectures and deans are involved is really revealing the corrupt practices allowed in our country which is affecting the millions and billions in one way or the other.In olden days it was the war of the Virtue vs Evil.Now it is the war of The Devil vs The Dragon.
