Stress - a state of mind- caused by us & not by anyone else.

In today’s world most of us complain that our life is stressed out due to some or the other reasons. Many have too much stress of work, some face problems in their personal life. Because of some situation for which we are not prepared at all, comes our way and we are not able to solve that situation which causes Stress. This stress actually just a state of mind. Hence it’s our mind which causes stress in ourselves and not exactly the situation.

We can easily overcome this stress if we know the reason for this stress. If we are aware of the reason then there can be two possibilities, i.e.

1) Try to improve the situation and take proper action towards the problem which causes that situation

2) If there is problem which you think there is no solution towards it, then accept that situation and try to think what to do next

Most of us stuck with the problem and then the problem dominates us and we have to act as per situation. But this should not be the case, let us dominate the problem, before problem dominates us. When we stick to the problem it causes us stress. Many of us have a habit of crying over the spilt milk,; that if I had not done that this situation would not have occurred, or I should have done that but didn’t do it etc. Most of us have this habit and never come out of this situation. Remember that problems and worries are part and parcel of life so instead of sticking to it, find a resolution to it soon and if you think there is no resolution then accept the situation and start moving ahead. Accept that the worst has happen and try it all again. Though it will be difficult to do it, but if we don’t then it will be all the more worse. If we think then only we will be able to get out of stress. Its we who always keeps ourselves in stress coz we are so engrossed with the negativity of the situation that we could not look beyond it and takes a lot of time to over come that situation. So one should be ready for such things in life and take it positively that you would be able to resolve it quickly and get out of it. Nothing is permanent; hence such situation will not be there forever.

Also we should never run away from such problems or situations coz it will cause a bigger loss in long run. Many people know that there is a problem, but they don’t want to get into it and try to avoid, thinking “late the better” and hence get stressed later on. But that should not be the approach, even if we feel that there is a problem, one should work to it so that it does not create a big loss in future. So always accept it and move ahead.

But always remember to learn lessons from it. If you know the reason of such situation and problems, make sure that a same thing does not happen in future. We need to take preventive steps so that same mistakes are not occurred in future.

Hence be ready for all the situations in life i.e. good n bad and be confident about ourselves. This attitude will help us in going ahead in our life.
