Program Curriculum

Course Objective

The program envisions a comprehensive objective to create tomorrow’s leaders for the dynamic industry. (Create a fleet of ‘Industry-Ready’ professionals for our company).

Curriculum

The program comprises subjects across the gamut of business management, Insurance domain related & soft-skills development for personality development. This cross spectrum skill-building empowers you to embody the objective of the program.

Schedule

The new program is spread over a period of 24-weeks divided into 2 Terms & internship as follows:

Term 1 & 2: 9 weeks each

Internship : 6 weeks

About the Program

Certification Program- PGPMI conceived

As one of the country’s leading company, it is our constant endeavor to innovate. As an initiative to equip students with necessary knowledge & skills to become superior Insurance Sales Professionals, we have launched the first ever 6-months Certification Program- PGPMI. In this we have partnered with B-schools spread over 26 locations across the country.

The objective is to identify & nurture talent to take up leadership positions within the organization over a period of time & provide a platform for them to learn & grow.

Value of Certification Program- PGPMI

Certification Program- PGPMI is an industry focused management program for the ‘life insurance sector’. The program imparts the best of management education to the participants. Coupled with the fact that each selected candidate is also given a provisional offer letter from the company. (Subject to successful completion of the course) to join as Executive trainee, PGPMI stands outs as a career oriented certification program with an assured placement with a leading organization.

Eligibility

The following are eligible to apply:

• Fresh graduates of 2008 with 50% marks in aggregate.
• Graduates of 2006/07 with 50% marks in aggregate.
• Graduates with less than 12 months of experience with 50% marks in aggregate.

Assured Job Placement

All candidates on successful completion* of the 6-months Certification Program- PGPMI will be considered for the induction into our company & would be appointed as Executive Trainees in any of the channel of our company, in grade I (or equivalent grade as applicable at the time of appointment) of sales & distribution channel.

Salary

The salary varies as per the role & locations & is specified in the provisional offer letter. The role offered could vary depending on candidate skill set & our organizational requirement. The decision of our company will be final.

Financial Assistant

Our company does not provide any financial assistant to the students. However we have tied up ICICI Bank & Bank of India for providing education loans to the selected students of PGPMI on a PAN India basis. The decision to provide loans is the sole discretion of the bank & branch concerned. Our company does not guarantee any financial assistance or disbursement of education loan from any bank.

After the selection process

Selected candidates are given a ‘Welcome Kit’ on selection to PGPMI. Candidates will be issued an admission letter from their selected institutes, once they have completed the registration process within the validity period 15 days.

Choice in B-school

At the time of registration, the candidate will list his/her preference from the list of centers given on the talent acquisition partner’s website. However the final allotment will be based on the vacancies in that center along with the candidate’s merit list. Our company does not guarantee admission into institute of choice.

Hostel Facility

The Institute will assist you in getting hostel facility either on campus or off-campus.
