Thinking for Weight Loss?

I have read much about how to decrease weight. You all may have read much, so this is not a new topic at all but I think something like this may be useful to you.

First of all one has to find his/her weight is reasonable/more/less for a sepicified criteria. The simple concept is that you measure your height. Then convert it into INCHES. If your weight in kilogram equal to the number of inches, your weight is reasonable.

For example  your height measured is 5 feet 8 inches, your height is 68 inches all total.

Then measure your weight in KILOGRAMS , let it comes to be 68 Kilograms.

This weight is reasonable. No need to increase or decrease. If it is more than 68 kgs, you will need to decrease. If it is less than 68 kgs , you need to reach 68 kgs. But see some 3, 4 kgs alteration may be there. You need not maintain it very strictly.

This criteria is for medium width or medium built persons.

Now if you require and also you want to decrease your weight, following are the steps you may select , either all or any of these steps according to your choice.

[1] Exercise [ Hindi--VYAYAM; GUJARATI--Kasarat.]

Walking at some speed in the morning or in the evening or both. Take deep breathing while you are taking walk. If you are interested in yogasana and pranayam--then do it. Yogasana and Pranayams are the greatest benifits of all. One easy yoga style I would like to mention here. When you wake up in the morning, sit in Padmasana , take breath in normal way and  put it out with a speed, trying to shrink your belly. This will give sound like  snoring. Try this for 10 -15 times. This is lion style or tiger style, it helps much to decrease belly. But dont expect too much early result. The resuly will come slow but you will benifit much. And the Pranayam is a vast discussed subject so I think you may be knowing. 

[2] Food intake--[ Aahar or Khorak]

Avoid fried items. If you do not want to avoid fried food completely, avoid for the dinner atleast. Include fruits as many as possible.  Fruits can give you best maximum benifit if you take at 10 AM and at 4 PM, dont take fruit and roti dal chaval simualtaneously. If you can not adjust these timings of taking fruit, you can take fruit in the morning at the time of breaksast. Do not drink water  immediately after fruit intake. Take more cereals, salad, bioled items. Potatos if fried give much cholesterol. So try to avoid. But if you can not avoid completely, try boiled potato with a spray of salt, chilly and the masalas of your choice on the slices of boiled potatos. Salad including carrot, raddish, beet root, calliflower,cucumber, onion, garlic, ginger, green leaves are a great help. Start your meal with salad so that your hunger will be satisfied to some extent before you take roti, chaval, sabji etc. In this way you can decrease your food intake. Chew or grind food  sufficiently so that the digestion process will be easy. This will definitely take some 5 minutes more than usual to accomplish your meal. Maintain timings for your meals. Breakfast 7 am to 8 am, Lunch 11 to 12.30 AM, dinner 6.30 to 8 PM. Ideally you should take dinner before 8 PM., and lunch before 12.30 AM

[3] Water--

Take water as much as you can. Water is the elixir of life. By taking much water ,you will require to urinate more. so the cleaning and / rinsing will be far better. When to drink water  and when to not drink is a concept. Dont drink water immediately after any meal. Let some 30 or 40 minutes pass after a meal and then take water. Avoid freezed or cold or iced water as far as possible. Medium cold water will suit your test and your stomach both.  If possible take two glasses of mild hot water immediately after you wake up. take one glass of water before you go to sleep. One glass of water 1 hour before you take lunch and dinner. The second half of the day is the best time to drink much water.

Fastings may not be a good option to decrease weight. Some persons have got some results by fasting but this is not suitable for all.

[4] Juice and sproutes are evergreen options.

 Sproutes ,Fruit juice and vegetable juice are best options to try. There are many books for this subject. So it is beyond the limit to write here. sometimes try to go on juice and fruits for a whole day or try to miss a meal and take only juice as a substitute.

[5] What to avoid ?

Avoid Icecream, chocolates, buiscuits, sweets, fast foods, junk foods, processed foods, alchohole, smoking, heavy meals, etc. But one may think to avoid these things may be very difficult. This restriction will lessen the  charm. In this case please remember a SANSKRIT saying--- ATI SARVATRA VARJYET. It means dont take anything beyond limit. Fix a certain boundry for these items.
