Mahindra Satyam, a global consulting firm, has started a Windows Azure Center of Excellence (CoE) in partnership with Microsoft, to provide Azure consulting, development and migration services to its enterprise customers.

The company said that the new CoE is part of its cloud strategy to develop vertical offering s which will be made available to existing and new customers on pay-per-use model.

The partnership will enable Mahindra Satyam to build competency on cloud based services through development of re-usable tools, accelerators, development metrics, design and architecture practices.

In addition, the new CoE will also provide dedicated resources with knowledge and technical expertise on the Windows Azure cloud platform.

Mahindra Satyam CEO CP Gurnani said the Azure CoE will help them in building competencies and delivering Azure based customisable, robust, reusable and scalable cloud offering s to their customers.
