Enough of engineering graduates need for other shades of disciplines
With so much profileration of number of IITs,engg colleges ,the wild proposal to open a thousand more universities by HRD and trying to open it for foreign universities we have enough of engineering graduates with shallow knowledge, little training in design,fabrication,manufacturing, practical skills.What the country needs is as many intelligent scientists with aptitude in fundamental research,highly skilled technicians who form a bridge between to convert ideas into utilitarian industrial base for applied scientists and innovaters creative engineers to build upon.Food for thought for the planning commission and HRD and all who care about development ;.this is China's fundamental strength;Is any one hearing in India?
