Out of all resources used for the profit making business only human resource is appreciating assets, this asset appreciate as gradually time passes.
But for last few years this concept has taken U-turn and depreciation in this resource showing there impact, managing there work-life balance for an employee has become more difficult. Working hard and more harder for a for earning more money is justified for a AAM ADMI but putting much more effort for just to be on safe side of recession has change the concept. Reducing jobs, reducing salary and reducing sustainability in the market are different kind of monster for future AAM ADMI.
Major victims of these monster are only AAM ADMI have a look in any of the sector you will find only AAM ADMI has been crushed in all this storm, any where at any level you will find the major victims are only AAM ADMI, lakhs of people have lost there jobs in textile industries, steel industries, financial industries etc. most of the job looser were at lower level of hierarchy. It is very difficult for the people who having only particular type of quality and skill to manage themselves in some other industries. Think about those people who are from textile industry and having technical knowledge, how they will be able to adjust them self in some other industries like education industry or IT industry etc..
People from the higher hierarchy have less job loss fear as compare to other lower level employee in same company I don’t say they don’t loose there job, they too but as compare to other lower level employ very less in number. I think this all is because of hierarchy, salary and responsibility difference between higher hierarchy and lower hierarchy. These differences have created lots of social barrier and forced the poor people to become poorer and rand rich people are become richer.
Salary of ceo of any company is in lakhs and crore but people working at executive(entry) level getting only 5k to 10k average salary and all the basic job is performed by these people only. Whenever company faces these type of situation like recession they either slack there executive level employ or reduce there salary for the reason to reduce there cost, companies cease there increment program and start reducing there cost by hitting back of there employ.
I don’t know how much it is justified and how any one can justify it, all the Indian industry structure need to reform in the way so this gap can be reduce as much as possible
It’s better to hire executive (ground level) with some better salary structure who really work for the company not the Number of CEO’s, MD’s or RM’s with higher salary. If company wants to cut down the cost of the company they need to target high salaried employees not the people who are earning there bread and butter through there job.
