Kanpur The Burning Issue
Today I am going to discuss a Burning Issue of Kanpur. One of my best friends is also from Kanpur and I was expecting a blog or article from her on this issue. Might be she was busy in some other work.
So I thought ok let me write a blog on this. The issue is Dress code in Girls Colleges.
Girls have protested a lot against this policy of the Colleges administrations. Centre Govt also announced that this is not correct so such policies can not be implemented.
Even then I am reading so many articles and news with this regards.
Ok let we try to see the issue step by step.
1st Question: Why college administration wants such type of rule for girls?
Ans.: Dear friends might be you are not agree with me but this is my opinion so please bear with me again. Yes college administration wants this rule because they think colleges are only for study and personal development not for fashion. They are giving some example for some embarrass situation with they have been encountered.
Scene 1: One girl has wearied very low cut T-shirt and ¾ jeans.
Scene 2: A girl has wearied a T-shirt on which some words have been printed (I will not write what was that)
Scene 3: A girl has very long hand bag on her shoulder but does not a book or notes
I hope friends you can easily understand that what I want to say. The professor has a complaint that student are more keen to fashion not for study.
If girl students are wearing such type of dresses then concentration might be diverted from study (Both student & teacher)
If girls can bring so many other things (Mobile/ I pod/ other items) then they will disturb others as well in class because they do not have books.
So the administration thought that let we ban everything, which cause distraction.
Question 2: Why Girls are protesting?
Ans.: They are feeling that mobile phone are very necessary because by mobile they can be in touch with their family (God Knows in earlier days what the family members were doing to be connected with girls)
They can get help as and when they want (very strong point I agree because now the moral value is going down very drastically)
They are bringing I-pods because they fell refresh after listen music in free time.
They are feeling that they are enough mature and have better understanding for the good thing and the bad thing.
No need to advise them like primary school students. They are free people of a free country that is progressing very fast. I agree and if we impose this type of rule forcefully then it can be give a negative sense, which at last decrease the moral of girls.
Question 3: What Govt. Wants?
Ans.: political parties run Govt. so they do want to lose out their future or present votes.
Govt is agreeing with the rule if everybody is agrees and not agrees if people are against this rule. (No to say yes and yes to say No)
Like every issue govt need time to solve the problem and till that time the situation should not be changed.
Question 4: Why I am writing this blog ?
Ans.: I have mentioned everything above and I know we are educated and enough mature. We can take our own decision because we are free people of a free country.
Then why I am writing this blog and the answer is, there are some questions in my mind and I want answer for that.
1: If everything is so clear then why govt need time?
2: Why student going to Colleges and other education institutes?
3: Why we are wearing Cloths (Men and women both)?
4: We are capable and mature then why we are looking for help in needed situation?
5: If we do not want others to interfere in our personal choice or life then what is the need of society?
6: If anything miss happen then why girls are shouting and telling that this world is men dominated.
7. If we want everything as per our wish then why we are not asking the same right for others.
8. Is college staff following the same rule (Not bringing mobile in class)?
9: What the children of collage staff wearing while they are in colleges.
10. Can a girl show or sit with her parents in those dresses.
Last: why we need govt, rule, regulation and policies even though we do not want to change our self .
Friends if you have answer of the above question then it will be great help for govt. and me to solve the issue. I have an assumption that every thing has two faces and here I am trying to find out the second face of the issue.
As per my thinking the only solution is "Do not posse any rule in between the session just mention all the rule and regulation in prospects and if students agree with them then will go for admission another they can join any where."
If collage administration wants to change the present situation then they should call a meeting with parents and students and discuss the matter on table and wait and watch what the decision come out for that.
Friends please reply I am waiting for your comments.
Thanks & Regards
