Shame for the Nation...
Its a shameful incident happened in India only.
Our former president Dr APJ Abdul Kalam was going somewhere via American Airline. He had stopped by security persons and they checked his purse and shoes. Some other official informed the security personals that he is former President of India even than they have done this sin. Yes this is a sin not a mistake or human error.
I have seen many presidents of India and I believe that no one was better than Dr APJ Abdul Klam was. He is peoples president and that’s why he has been awarded by Bharat Ratan.
The Americans on namesake security insult such a nice human who has done a great job for our country. Everybody knows very well that how is security of our nation. I do not want to do comment on that. But it’s really shame for our nation that a former head of country is treated like this.
Politicians are politicians and I do not think they will do anything. But I am writing this blog because I respect Sir very much. I am feeling guilty on this. Sometime I think, I should not vote for such politicians who are not thinking for nation. They are just busy in making money and power for their family. Can anyone imagine that if the same case happened with Sonia Gandhi then the Congress that is ruling party will show or act like in the similar way?
This is not the first time happen for Indian Politician. Earlier Jeroge Fernandis, Prnav Mukkerji and Somnath Chetterji has faced the same kind of act. Sh Somnath ji has rejected their offer to check himself and return back but what about other politician? They do not understand that they are representing our country if they are not opposing for such shameful behavior, then where they will ask others to respect us.
This case is different form the previous ones. 1st Dr ji just not a politician or former president of India. He is very good human being and pride of our nation. Everybody respect him very much. 2nd thing is that this sin happened in India only.
The American officials are so rude that when reporter asked them about that they replied stating that nothing is wrong in this. It’s just a procedure and we have to follow that. My question is, In India will the govt. rule by Indian acts or American rule and regulations. In India its clearly written in constitution that President, Prime minister, Cabinet Minister, Chief justice of supreme court and their respective life partner can not be asked for security checkup.
I do not know when the right time will come for us but yes this is Black day for our country as we can not protect our nation pride for this type of insult.
