CBSE Class 10th, 12th results to be declared by May 28
K K Chaudhury, regional officer CBSE, said, "The Class X and 12th final examination started on March 1. Results are usually declared in May and this time, too, they will be out on or before May 28."
He also said, "The CBSE has started the comprehensive and continuous evaluation (CCE) system so the candidates' overall performance would also be monitored."
Right now, the final scrutiny is going on and all anomalies would also be sorted out.
"Usually we do not have any anomalies in the results as utmost care is taken to ensure that the system is free of any kind of flaws. Still, if any student gets a compartment in any subject, he gets to clear it by July when there would be another examination. That way, the student's whole year is not wasted," Choudhury said.
There are about 282 examination centres in the entire northeast region. About 43,000 candidates appeared for the Class 12th exams and 49,000 for the Class X finals in the region. Get online your CBSE Results.
"There are about 820 schools affiliated to CBSE in the northeast . Other than that, in Class 12th, there are vocational subjects too, so the process of scrutiny would take some time. But we are not delaying the results," Choudhury said.
