Samsung Galaxy S4 Media&Camera you need to know

As you expected, Samsung Galaxy S4 with a huge Full HD screen has been announced at at Radio City Music Hall. But I as a photography lover often pay attention to the digital feature of this phone.

The phone follows in the footsteps of its predecessors in the camera, with a 13MP sensor on the back, which now has to bulge slightly from the chassis. It allows you to record video and pictures with the front and back cameras simultaneously, which doesn't really make much sense in the grand scheme of things.

Besides, the Galaxy S4 has been dubbed the best out there for media on the go. The video player is obviously taking centre stage here on the Galaxy S4, and combined with the improved Full HD Super AMOLED screen is just magnificent for watching movies. The video hub now contains both personal and downloaded content in one place, and it looks really, really nice when viewing it on the 5-inch screen. Samsung has managed to stay ahead of the pack when it comes to internal storage too – it will be available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB flavors plus up to 64GB through a microSD card as well.

In additional, some of the more interesting stuff included picture-in-picture photography and video chatting. Essentially you can include an insert of yourself from the front-facing camera on photos taken with the rear-facing camera. You can do the same for chats, and even screenshare. You can also record a few seconds of audio and combine it to a picture, a feature I've often longed for when covering trade shows -- attached voice notes to jog my memory later. There's even a drama shot mode, where a burst of images are taken and then auto-composited into something akin to those multi-exposure sports posters you sometimes see in bars, or used to erase extraneous people or objects from the background.

In a word, the Galaxy S4 really makes the multimedia functions better. You can share some photos anywhere on Facebook with your family and friends. Of course, if you have the professional photography demand, it is not fine for you.
