His statement actually made me to think a while, whether he referred to an inexpensive lifestyle at rural place or was he saying about the current political promises.

Every national and regional political parties like INC, BJP, KJP, JDS, BSR Congress, JDU and other have released their election manifesto, which publically make unbelievable promises such as providing free laptops for pre-university students, interest-free loans for farmers, rice at Rs.1 per kilogram, better waste management, 50 percent reservation for women in local bodies, free medical for pregnant and infants with special care for baby girls, up to Rs.5000 for senior citizens and widows per month and much more…

Let me come to my brother’s point-of-view, just imagine if you have two senior citizens, a widow, a girl, a pre-university student, a handicap and luckily get a BPL card. You don’t really need a job to earn money, just sit at home and get an income of around Rs.10,000 to Rs.15,000.
