Indian Political League ..
As the world's biggest democracy goes to polls, the media seems to be managing the show pretty well and raking in the moolah. While a no. of national,local channels have sprung up to catch the latest action as it happens, I personally view that barring a few , none of them work with a unbaised view to the voter.
I happen to watch a lot of these of late and have found 'TIMES now' cover the elections and the debates particularly well. I am kind of impressed with Mr.Arnab Goswami for his handling of the sensitive debates of Mumbai carnage, the Mumbai blasts coverage itself and now the famous fights with the best of the political class form all parties.
Though on a couple of occasions, he seems to be worked up , but is able to balance the debate well. I recall an incident during the Mumbai blasts coverage live, where he interrupted the press reporter and told him to shut up as news could be used by the terrorists and they must be watching national news. This shows the sense of responsiblity and not the urge to only get TRP's jumping.
Definitely TIMES now is doing a good job in the coverage of elections and needs to be patted on the back. My 98 cents..
