DAY 491 Amitabh Bachchan Blog

My need for the coveted oxygen is immediate ! The insides need that vital O2 for survival and function. I have no gauge to determine what is the requirement and when, but I would presume it is immediate.

My yawns outnumber the beats that the heart takes. The mind functions in oblivion. And the keys on the board seem to be pushing out when depressed in. That is strange.

RGV loved yesterday’s piece and quoted frequently from it throughout the morning, before driving over to meet up and take it further from where it was left off. Some more rushes were urgently sent for from the editing suite of Ramu in Mumbai and presented themselves at our door in good time. They were seen and discussed and talked about and packed back to be taken away. RGV’s trust in me not at all favorable !!! Ha ! All in good humor.

Some sites that one had searched for and desired suddenly came alive. How it happened I cannot explain, but appear they did. They occupied my body for most part of the day and somewhere I do feel a sense of comfort, that I shall be able to get to them when I want to. Nothing of any great importance, just an old passion that satisfies mind and body, like no other.

Is it important to put trust and faith when it is first seen and experienced ?

How is it ever possible that we often forget to look at issues from the other persons point of view first. Many that possess the ability to completely disagree with the thought, often express disgust at such a suggestion. They believe that each situation has but one view - theirs. They believe that drawing peoples attention towards themselves and themselves alone is final and permanent. There cannot possibly be anything better. This is a complex that needs to be treated with urgency. It comes from a syndrome that brandishes inferiority. Those that are inferior and know that they are, deliberately behave and act in a manner, which falsely invites attention of being superior. Picking up the style of speech and action of those that have lived without effort, an exalted life ; wanting to be like them and to behave in similar manner, will always bring in a bearing of unnaturalness , a forced effort to not just believe they are that, but to show others that they are one with the class above. This is where most of us go wrong. It would be perfectly acceptable if we remained an honest accepted inferior, than to be constantly pretending to be the other.

If I knew not the style and fashion of the day, I would happily do my own than frustrate myself with the thought of not being ‘with it’. I may have broken these rules during my youth. The absence of sufficient means to be able to be up with the Joneses, was a major reckoner and quite frankly one that we understood better then, because we were not corrupted. But as one grows older, self improvement sneaks in as also the realization that if we were not born with it, we may never be able to learn it, or pretend to learn it. That is however not the case with those that know they are inferior, but shall always project themselves as the superior being.

To make it simpler. Those that put on the garb of superiority, shall never be able to justify it. An elitist attitude cannot be taught. It is one that you can be born with. Acquiring wealth and then paying for culture would be an improbable situation. I could load my house with the most artistic and expensive paintings and the most relevant books, but what good are they if I know not which way the painting needs to be hung, or that the book needs to be read for its content rather than to look aesthetic on a shelf or a coffee table.

I have found many an individual, quick to correct and disagree with any topic of discussion in the midst of a casual sit down. They may be right but the way in which it is done, exposes an aspect of their mind that is constantly seeking moments of superior appreciation. Just because you have a voice box, does it necessarily mean that it needs to be heard all the time. No. I would appreciate some silent acceptance and listening in as well occasionally. It is not just the view or opinion expressed by such individuals that dominates procedure, they never fail to show anger and disgust when their thought is not accepted. Little do they realize that they only succeed in demolishing themselves further.

One cannot always be right, but the ability to correct a wrong by accepting it, makes for me a better human. Many in the world would make mistake but insist on its onus being the responsibility of some other. It is a weak person that does that. It is a person that hides behind false screens. They live in a world that shall never do justice to them.

For those that consider this to be of any relevance - I am grateful

And for those that do not - I do not blame you

I checked with Aishwarya, she does not do ‘twitter’. Those that do, have used her name and used media and blog contents to make it sound genuine..
