Mumbai Mirror Apologize !!!

Ms Menal Baghel you are the Editor of the Mumbai Mirror ..
Ms Menal Baghel you are a woman ..
Ms Menal Baghel your paper has maliciously slandered the modesty of another woman ..
Ms Menal Baghel your paper must apologize !!

Outrage and support builds up every minute for this unethical behavior and I am just so overwhelmed. Yes there are the regulars that show solidarity and concern, but there are some that are alien to the blog, alien to me as an actor, alien to me as a human being, but yet when it comes to the issue at hand, they join hands !

A gentleman writes that he has never liked me as an actor or as a human being, but says in this matter he is together with me. I am deeply touched. Thank you sir !

A respondent from the blog sums it all up. This is Dr Sara from Pakistan -

me my family n All Pakistani Nation is with U And ur Family Mr. Bachchan.
Pakistan and Pakistanis are supposed to be enemies of Indians. Here a Pakistani is vouching her support on behalf of entire Pakistan.
Jis Ghav par Dushman bhi marham laga dey
Woh ghaav kitna jalim hoga?

In Hindi devnagri the words written are -

जिस घाव पर दुश्मन भी मरहम लगा दे ,

वो घाव कितना ज़ालिम होगा ?

You can imagine how treacherous the wound must be, when even the enemy dresses it !!
Came in to London as you can all see, after a horrendous flight - heavy turbulence throughout - just could not rest at all. I was to be here for two events. The premier of Teen Patti and a charity event. The premier has been cancelled, the producers tell me, due to internal management issues and the charity event remains. It is the launching of a Mobile Diabetic Unit by Silver Star an organization under the patronage of Rt Hon Keith Vaz, MP from Leicester, the longest sitting MP of Indian origin in the British Parliament. I had inaugurated this very worthy and noble cause here in Leicester some time ago and some months back if you remember I had gone to Goa in India to launch the MDU there. This launch tomorrow shall be done by Mr Gordon Brown, the Prime Minister of UK and shall be done for Mumbai. The van is being called ‘Amitabh’, which is a little embarrassing, because of my support for this very noble cause and because I had become its chief patron when this exercise was initiated. Other MDU’s shall be launched in time to come, for Delhi and Kerala as well. This unit works as a service for the detection of diabetes, an ailment which many a time goes unnoticed until its too late. There are over 50 million cases of diabetes in India, the Indians being prone to this ailment in large numbers as you can see.
Meanwhile activities for the ‘vog’ continue. I keep recording my voice messages on a fairly regular basis and the operators seem to express happiness. They tell me that soon they shall be able to facilitate a response voice medium too for the clients to talk back and leave voice messages for me as a response to mine. The world of technology becommeth smaller and more intricate.
It is zero degrees here in London and it is raining as well … but the warmth of your love and care keeps me protected .. thank you ..
