DAY641 Amitabh Bachchan Blog

The gym in the morning is the only refresher course for the entire day. Gets rid of early morning lethargy, loosens up the body and mind, fills up the lungs with fresh and hopefully purer air and possesses you with a sense of well being. The body and limbs seem flexible than before and the countenance demonstrates a brightness. There is a lithe feeling in the steps you take and an energy develops that puts the spring back into the air that you dissipate as you walk along.

I am off to Powai for the shoot with Abhishek for BINGO. Apprehensive as to what I shall be made to do and also what Abhishek and I shall be doing together. But on arrival it all works out fine. The entire unit of Bigg Boss and Colors is there and catching up with all the crew is a delight. Almost seems like the episodes of BB3 are still pending and I have been beckoned there to complete the shortfall.

The game is simple but fun and even though a lot depends on chance and luck there is a factor of thrill in it. A live audience adds color to the proceedings. And it would be difficult to believe this but … there is a member of FmXt in there as well. Protocol is broken and he is allowed to stand at his position and deliver a short speech in praise of the blog and his association with it. Cute !!

I finish my bit in a fairly involved period of time and after a few more media bites and announcements leave to rush to Film City to shoot for CINTA.

Powai is a suburb of the city, named after the lake there by this name. I remember in the 60’s when I had been brought to a holiday in Mumbai, I had been there as guests of dear friends of my Father. It was distant and quiet and cleaner in those days. Now there is a great many more structures that have come up and no semblance of the pristine Powai remains. A pity !!

I rush out of BINGO and Abhishek to go to my next assignment for CINTA, as Abhishek prepares to host ShahRukh and Karan on is show. They are there to promote their next film ‘My name is Khan’ and I find my way to shoot a sequence on stage for the Cine Artists Association, who do doyen service for the lesser privileged artists. The problems, if any that we face, go as a case study and resolve through mutual consent.

It is the same floor that I spent a very large portion of my life conducting KBC. There is a sense of well being there and soon after the formalities are over we get down to the game and its execution. What a wonderful moment of my career at KBC. Someday we shall elaborate on this.

Tomorrow is Bangalore. The Chief MInister and his people shall see the film PAA for tax exemption and while they decide on that we from the family get back to playing soccer.

The brains bulge and throb. I need a desperate cure for it immediately. Look right Mr B, your bed invites you longingly. Ok so bed it shall remain and be.

Good night dear family .. this one is short and somewhat informative … but soon we shall be on to Bangalore and thereafter on the blog ..

Till then …..
