Cyclones, earthquakes, flooding and landslide are the most common global disasters affecting the countries according to the UN report under the coordination of scholar Pascal Peluzzi.

The climate change, by its part, is risen the risk of disasters by flooding, being Greenland the country with the biggest vulnerability. Colombia has a big risk of earthquakes, quoted Peluzzi, while he concluded that India, Bangladesh and Japan, with a great risk, are the country that more efforts have done to reduce the impact of such natural phenomena.
