DAY 440
Travel takes away my connection and my bearings with you and this is disturbing. It disorients me and this is disturbing. It destroys a routine of mine and this is disturbing. So I rush fervently to come back to you at the first opportunity and here I am again in between flights and airports connecting with EF.
Paris was short and quick. Beautiful and exciting as ever, once the meetings were over just the odd walk around. An interesting square of historic value, a Church of some time, a little prayer and a candle, a terrace lunch watching Paris go by, the informality of an ex President, Jacques Chirac, sitting on the adjoining table, all so endearing and warm.
The tennis final was missed. Was on the train. But modern technology kept us informed through the mobile and looks like it was a most exhilarating experience. That Federer would eventually triumph was almost a foregone conclusion, but for Roddick to have put up that master performance where there were many moments when he could have finished the match in his favor, was so unfortunate. Kudos for his gutsy effort. To have come to this stage when there was no expectation at all is to be admired greatly.
There will more travel on arrival in Mumbai, of which later. But what has been most fulfilling for me has been the final absolute draft on the foreward to Madhushala that I had been struggling with all these days. Now I can safely send it for print and in time put it out to the EF.
Must rush now.. my love as always..
