Its just a simple question what is the difference in behaving to a friend and to a colleague. What I understand is that when u have a colleague you cannot interfere with him as with a friend. Most probably you would be discussing official matters and other normal matters. When at the same time he becomes your friend you would be sharing your personal things, you might be arguing, having fun each other and hell lot other things. If its true it does not happen like below described.

Briefly explaining what happend last day was, i was travelling with my colleague/friend in his car and i was sitting in the back seat. I was only in the back seat and on the other seat one paper was lying. Its a bill from the water and elecricity to pay the due of the month of our company. It was just lying on there open faced, i just took it and asked my friend what is this bill for, knowing the bill what it is.

It was against my expectation and thought i got an answer from him, "You should not touch the stuffs inside and you dont have ethics". I just argued with him "You should keep it covered if it is something confidential" as we were ofen argues and jokes being friends. This is what i said towards him. For this he expressed bit more anger as if i did a big mistake. One thing still i am not understanding is that, its not that confidential and its of company bill and everybody knows the rent of electicity and water. Things came worst till i got banned travelling on his car. I have not got car so i use my colleague car for official purpose.

So i was just wondering whether i have mistaken or not? Things are turning unexpectedly, probably it depends on the mood of the person also how he reacts to a matter. So what i am concluding is, better to understand the situation, environment and mood of any one before you start talking about anything and understand your true friends before passing any comments.
