Testimony for Christ
Testimony
Is Lord Jesus alive? O yes he is very much alive as the Bible says who
was, who is and who is to come!
My parents come from a non Christian background, even though they new
about the love of Lord Jesus and his freely offered salvation, they
did not have any fellowship with him at all.
After few years of their marriage they lost their first child (My
elder brother) who was only 8 months old. They were heart broken, had
to confront lot of problems like sickness, financial difficulties,
witchcraft, problems at office etc.
As the time passed by my Mother became very sick and was hospitliased
for 3 months. The Doctors gave up hope. But there were few God’s
servants who would come and pray at her sickbed every day. God in his
mercy heard their prayers and healed her completely. Even the Doctors
were surprised!
As my Mother began to taste the love of our Lord Jesus Christ, she
started praying fervently that God should bless my Father with good
job.
The lord indeed did answer her prayers and blessed him with Central
Government job in Dehradun and elevated him to Officer rank.
The Lord blessed me and my Sister to study in one of the reputed
school in Dehradun.Initially I was very weak in studies and
contemplated to stop my studies.
At this juncture we got an opportunity to attend Jesus Calls meetings
in Dehradun and we as a family submitted ourselves at the feet of Lord
Jesus Christ by becoming partners in Jesus Calls ministry.
God filled us with immeasurable love and compassion that every hatred
and evil habits lefts us.
Gracefully he enabled me to complete my Post Graduation and blessed me
with a job in MNC. He also blessed my Sister complete her MBA from
Karunya University.
As I began to grow in the Lord, I was confronted with sickness which
even the Doctors were not able to find the solution but God heard the
prayers of prayer Warriors offered at prayer tower and healed me
completely.
Even though we were living in Govt. accommodation, we were anxious to
have our own house.
God blessed us to construct our own house in Coimbatore (One of the
industrialized city in Tamil Nadu) near Karunya University. He did not
stop there but also blessed us with four wheeler and Air travels as
well.
Even today we do confront various trials, temptations, weakness,
sickness and disappointments but what keeps us happy and marching
ahead is the sweet and matchless love of Lord Jesus Christ! which the
world can never give.
This very presence and peace of the Lord also keeps away from the evil
and lusts of this wicked world of Satan.
Today as I ponder over the years of journey with the Lord my heart
overflows with immeasurable gratitude towards him.
He is the one and only true and living God the saviour and answer to
all our problems. He gave himself for us on the cross to redeem us to
reach heaven by forgiving our sins and healing our sickness. He rose
up on the third day to be with the God the Father.
I am indebted to Jesus Calls ministry for feeding us with spiritual
food continuously.
My greatest quest of life is to follow him faithfully and share his
love and compassion with others.
As I conclude I remember the immortal words of the Lord:
“Can Mother forget her feeding child? Even if she forgets, I (The Lord
Jesus Christ) will never forget you”
